Sophia A. Nelson: Jet Magazine's New Social Columnist

Sophia Angeli Nelson is Jet Magazine’s new political and social columnist. She is a black Christian woman who shares her faith, while navigating the deep waters of mainstream media. Nelson is Chairman of the Board and Founder of iask, Inc. (“I Am My Sister’s Keeper), an international organization dedicated to the mind, body and spiritual wellness of professional Black women. She is a blogger, national columnist, speaker, and political/social commentator for CNN, MSNBC, FOXNEWS, NPR, Huffington Post, BET, and BBC. Her opinion pieces have appeared in The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Chicago Sun Times, USATODAY, Essence, and Newsweek.
